Homeowners who are purchasing or renewing homeowners insurance, or looking for discounts, will typically need some type of inspection for their policy. We use the approved Citizens four point, wind mitigation, and roof certification forms.
These inspections may be requested by a Florida insurance carrier when you buy or renew homeowners insurance. They are insurance forms, not a full home inspection.
- Four point inspection — roof, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC on the Citizens form
- Wind mitigation inspection — roof covering, underlayment, deck nail pattern, roof-to-wall, and opening protection on OIR-B1-1802
- Roof certification — remaining useful life, covering material, condition, and photos of each slope
Insurance inspection reports are sent out by email or fax on the next business day. Same day reports are available upon request when scheduling. Our inspectors carry all equipment and tools necessary to complete the inspection scheduled.
